Agreement

In it’s simplest term, we’re ready to authorize and agreement between the author of the stage musical, “Two Hours Time” and the first high school to step forward from each county, in all fifty of the United States, and formally request the Right To Perform. This performance agreement will grant each school access to all written and digitized materials necessary to perform this production, completely free of charge.

Each no-cost agreement will be based on the following Right To Perform stipulations:

  • The initial request for a Right To Perform agreement must be submitted, either electronically, of via postal mail, on the school’s official letterhead. A school’s departmental letterhead is acceptable. (Visit the Contact page to view email and postal addresses.
  • Once a school ahs been determined to be the first of a given county to request the Right To Perform, a formal agreement document will be sent to the requesting school’s primary contact for completion and submission. This completed form may be returned either electronically or via postal mail.
  • The musical’s author agrees to provide to each school a digitized version of the musical’s book and the musical’s score in PDF format for downloading and printing.
  • Although his attendance is never guaranteed, the musical’s author does reserve the right to attend (unobtrusively) any and all cast selection sessions, preliminary and dress rehearsals sessions, and/or public performance sessions.
  • The two parties required to authorize the agreement shall be the musical’s author and an administrative representative of the school.
  • The school will provide the author, within 7 days of publication, hard-copy or digitized versions of all promotional materials, such as program books, posters, fliers, etc.
  • Whenever possible, the school will provide the author (within 30 days of the close of the production, a copy of all video-recorded versions of the production.
  • The school may present as many performances as they wish, as long as they are all conducted within a single 30-calendar-day period.
  • The first of the public performances must occur within twelve (12) months of the agreement being signed by both parties.
  • The school agrees to not modify the lyrics of any songs without explicit, written permission of the musical’s author.
