The stage musical, “Two Hours Time” is adapted from the original version of William Shakespeare’s romantic tragedy, “Romeo and Juliet”.
The characters, locale and time settings, and the basic storyline have remained pretty much unchanged. Some portions of the language have been slightly modernized to make the dialog more appealing to audiences and more manageable to the performers.
In order to manage to running time of this stage musical, it has been divided into two Acts, separated by a brief intermission.
We’re quite confident you’ll find the presentation to be both true to Shakespeare’s intent, as well as enjoyable to all attending viewers.
The planned duration of “Two Hours Time” is approximate and may run a bit longer depending on each director’s personal views and interpretation.
No matter the actual duration, this story remains to be what many consider to be, the greatest love story ever written.
We will not argue with that point of view.
